That's exactly how I feel now.
Before the press release on the project was sent out, I have questioned 'them' the feasibility of the project. 'They' say "Sure, everything can be done."
Those bootlickers...
'They' dared not question the feasibility of the project proposed by the leader.
But then again, I was only in charge of drafting the press release. So I sent it out.
I got a response from the press. I was happy and I thought my job was done.
Now we have to show the press the things promised in the project.
It was then I got dragged into the shithole.
Suddenly, I was responsible for the things promised in the project.
I was seen to be the one 'pushing' for all the things promised in the project to be done.
It did not help at all when 'they' pushed responsibilities to and fro.
'They' made me get involved with every decision made in the project, saying that 'they' need a PR angle.
'They' are beginning to blame me when 'they' find that they could not deliver what was promised.
What I did was to make sure my job is done, to do up the press release and get response from the press.
"They" had gone through the release and agreed to it.
Now 'they' are beginning to find reasons to say that the project is not feasible.
And its going to look as if it was my fault....
so pissed.....
